Orthorexia- Can Eating Healthy Be Bad For You?

Health profetions have warned that an obsession with eating healthy can be dangerous. Orthorexia is the total oppisate to Anorexia. Where an anorexic suffer obessed with the quantity they are eating an orthorexic is obessed with the quality they are eating.
Healthy eating in moderation can be beneficial but in extreme cases malnutrition, extreme weight loss and even death can be a result. Orthorexia is a moden illness and most profesionals fail to reconize it.
Some symptoms of Orthorexia are excessivly planning meals in advance, feeling guilt and self hate for eatig even the tinyist portion of junk food, constantly thinking and talking about food, ovoiding eating out because you want to know what esacally is in your food and obessing with what is in your food.




Orthorexia is a healthy diet taken out of all proportions and uncontrolabal. I believe that Ortherxia is the result of this so called perfect women that the midia has created. All every seems to want to do these days is look like the model in magazies and the actors and singer they see on the T.v. With a lack of curvy role models people women are beging to turn eating disorders to lose weight that they may have not needed to lose.

I read this some where don't ask me where because it wa time ago I don't remember most of what I read but this is what i remember and you get te jist of it...as I don't remember what i read proply I ma have made some of this up.

When a child dedicates himself to a subject he has potential.
But when he dedicates himself to Islam he is hopeless!




When a Christian or a Jew kills someone religion is not mentioned, but when Muslim is charged with a crime, it is Islam that goes to trial!




When someone sacrfices himself to keep others alive, he is noble and all respect him.
But when a Palestinian does that to save his son from being killed, his brother's arm being broken, his mother being raped, his home being destroyed, and his mosque being violated -- He gets the title of a terrorist! Why? Because he is a Muslim!








When there is a trouble we accept any solution? If the solution lies in Islam, we refuse to take a look at it.



When someone drives a perfect car in a bad way no one blames the car.
But when any Muslim makes a mistake or treats people in a bad manner - people say "Islam is the reason"!








Without looking to the tradition of Islam, people believe what the newspapers say.

ITS SOoOoOo SAD THAT MORE THAT HALF OF THE PEOPLE WHO COME OUT LOOSE THEIR FRIENDS AND 1 IN 4 PEOPLES PARENTS DONT EXCEPT THIER SEXUALITY. MOST LGBT EXPIRANCE VERBAL ABUSE ALMOST EVERYDAY AND THIS LEAD TO DEPERATION, SELF HARMING AND PEOPLE TRYING TO KILL THEMSELFS. IM SURE IT ALSO LEADS TO ALCOHOL AND DURGS MISUSE AND..UMM..I THINK ANXIETY DISORDERS LIKE PHOBIAS..OoHH WOT THAT 1 CALLED WEN UR SCARD TO LEAVE HOME..AGROAPHOIA???..I DONT KNOW..I CANT REMBER WHAT I READ PROPALY IT WAS LIKE AGES AGO..

"people who self harm are misunderstood. people say theyr selfish or theyr doing it 4 attention, but these poeple dont have a clue what they are talking about. they make the abuser feel worse making them self harm more and become more secerative and even more upset or anxious. poeple dont self harm bcoz of 1 main reason they self harm 4 many difrent reason.not every who self harms want to die. self harming has nothing to do with suicide and death. self harming over time can become addctive lik a drug. this is becoz wen self harmer harm themselfs the feel such a gud releif or buzz and this feeling can become addictive." this may not true but its what i, a self harmer beleave to be true.
